On Thursday, June 26th, Genova Industrie Navali enthusiastically participated in the 78th Annual Assembly and International Conference, organised by the IIS - ISTITUTO ITALIANO DELLA SALDATURA in collaboration with the International Institute of Welding.
Representing the Group were Giangiacomo Zino, Commercial Director of T. Mariotti S.p.A. - Shipyard, and Alberto Pongiglione, Shipyard Director of San Giorgio del Porto S.p.A. The two speakers illustrated the main production processes and activities carried out by the companies belonging to Genova Industrie Navali S.p.A., highlighting the Group's specialised expertise and its ability to operate in diverse areas of shipbuilding.
The day concluded with a technical visit to their respective Genoese companies, during which participants had the opportunity to observe the workshops, operational quays, sheds, and temporary shipyards up close, seeing ongoing work and appreciating the human and technological value that distinguishes the GIN Group.
This was a valuable opportunity to promote technical culture, share company know-how, and confirm Genova Industrie Navali's strategic role as a benchmark for excellence in Italian and international shipbuilding.
