The Chantier Naval de Marseille is pleased to share an overview of the Chantier Academy’s new training pathway dedicated to riggers, developed to meet the shipyard’s operational needs.
This 12-month program, starting on November 3rd, is structured as a professional contract combining extended in-company experience with formal training modules. The first cohort will include six candidates, selected through situational assessments conducted in collaboration with France Travail.
The curriculum covers technical expertise, regulatory certifications, behavioral skills, and hands-on practice, leading to a recognized qualification: Operator of Complex Handling in Industrial Environments. The program aims to equip participants with both standard and site-specific competencies, supporting their long-term integration into shipyard operations.
Designed to be scalable, this initiative is intended to be replicated for future cohorts, contributing to sustainable workforce development and operational excellence.
